What is Time Turtle?

A cypher on wheels.

Time Turtle is a mobile freestyle rap cypher and interactive art cart created by Andy Smith, aka Young Duck Dillionaire.

A wagon covered in glowing, handcrafted LED festival art carries 2 to 3 microphones, an amp, and a rotating crew of 4 to 6 costumed freestyle rap and vocal-improv artists from UR IN.

We roam the grounds, gather a circle, and turn wherever we land into a tiny participatory stage.

What rolls with us

Art. Sound. Mischief.

The installation is designed to feel alive before anyone even touches a microphone.

01

Glowing festival art

Hand-built LED sculpture and a mobile silhouette that becomes a beacon after dark.

02

Two to three mics + amp

A compact sound rig for freestyle rounds, songs, vocal games, and audience prompts.

03

Costumed emcee avatars

Four to six performers and facilitators instigating magic, connection, and playful risk.

04

Quests + improv games

D&D-inspired role play from Deacon Doctor and participatory improv led by JaQui Juice.

05

Electrolyte potions

A playful hydration ritual where the Turtle “pisses” bright yellow electrolyte drinks for the gathered crowd.

06

A moving circle

No fixed stage required. Time Turtle can activate pathways, camps, quiet pockets, and chance encounters.

How it changes the energy

The festival becomes the stage.

Time Turtle brings a roaming pulse of play, music, and spontaneous connection. Instead of asking guests to find a fixed performance, we meet them where they are.

Experienced emcees can jump into the flow. First-timers can offer one word, one sound, a character, a rhythm, or simply help shape the moment. Our facilitators know how to invite participation without putting anyone on the spot.

As the cart moves, it connects strangers, wakes up quieter pockets, and leaves behind little stories people could not have planned.

You do not just watch it. You become part of it.
